Yes! I design all of our stickers, affirmation decks, and apparel. Every shirt, sweater, and tote bag is hand pressed in our Los Angeles studio using DTF (direct to transfer film) sheets and a heat press.

All of our shirts are Comfort Colors blanks made of 100% ring spun usa cotton. The shirts are pre shrunk and soft washed as well.

Our sweaters are cotton and polyester blends.

Our tote bags are canvas.

Yes! Besides our baby tees, all shirts and sweaters are unisex sizing. As the sizes go up, the shoulders get wider and the bottom of the shirt gets longer.

Our Y2K baby tees are a traditional women's fit.

Currently we go from Small-3XL in most of our shirts and sweaters. We are working on expanding our sizing and thank you for your patience as we continue to grow.

Our Y2K baby tees go from XS-2XL.

We are sorry and thank you for letting us know! With the volume of shirts we are currently producing and selling, we unfortunately sometimes come across a defective item. We thank you for your grace and patience with us and we want to make sure we solve this ASAP!

Yes! You have 14 days if you want to return or exchange your item. If you want to return and receive a refund, we will create an order for you and send you a return label. You will receive your refund once we receive your item.

If you want to exchange for a different size, same process. We will create an order for you and send you a return label.

PLEASE NOTE: You will be invoiced for a shipping label. On average they cost $3-6 USD depending where you live.

You can also return or exchange any items at any upcoming markets that you are able to attend!

At Smile Cult, we offer a 30-day return policy. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it. 

To request a return, please contact us by sending an email to smilecultofficial@gmail.com. In order to expedite the return process, please include the following information in your email:

- Order Number
- Order Date
- Customer Name
- Reason for requesting a return

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a complimentary return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Please inspect your order as soon as possible to check for damaged items and to make sure you received the correct items that you ordered. If any items are damaged or if you receive the wrong item, please contact us immediately at smilecultofficial@gmail.com so that we can help resolve the issue.

Once we have received and inspected your return, we will contact you via email to let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, we will initiate a refund back to your original payment method. Please remember that after we initiate a refund, it can take some time (up to 14 days) for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund. This processing time is out of our control and is completely dependent on your bank or credit card company.

Hello! My name is Sandy, I am the creator and current one person team of Smile Cult. Even though I am one person I still like to say "we" because I do have folks who help me in non creative ways.

I started Smile Cult in 2021 after I quit my toxic job as a social media designer for a beauty brand. I was living with my parents and living off my savings. I took a leap to invest in myself and try to start a brand. I wanted to design from my heart and mental health was always on my mind. I have had a couple of panic and anxiety attacks that year and that inspired me to focus on encouraging discourse around our mental health.

The core mission of the brand has always been to create a community of softies who are not afraid to embrace their tears and embrace themselves. The brand has evolved into what is is now thanks to all the feedback and inspiration I have received from friends, family, and customers.

I am still learning and growing and I want to thank you for supporting me and going on this journey with me :)
